Christmas Letter 2009

Christmas Greetings to you and your family! We had many changes in our lives this year.

Riley is now almost 20 months old! He has started to go to nursery and seems to enjoy it. He wants to be big just like his brother in every way, so last week we converted his crib into a toddler bed. He enjoys that newfound freedom a little too much. He loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Jingle Bells. He also really likes peek-a-boo.

Gavin turned 4 years old in August. He started preschool and wasn’t sure about it to begin with, but now asks everyday if it’s preschool day. For Christmas he asked Santa for slimy things and rats. At Thanksgiving he said he was thankful for rats and seems to remember them in his prayers at bedtime. It’s funny how kids get stuck on one thing for a while. Gavin looks forward to primary and enjoys playing with his friends.

Jill started working for National Benefit Services as an Assistant Administrator in April and really enjoys the people she works with. In November she was promoted to Administrator and enjoys her management role there as well. She is the primary Secretary at church and is working on writing a few of her own piano pieces. For the church Christmas program she performed one of her compositions. Many people suggested she write a CD, which might be something she is interested in doing in the future.

Cory started going back to school in April at Weber State University. He is working towards his Master’s in Accounting and is getting used to the idea of homework again. This keeps him quite busy as he tries to juggle school and Mr. Mom duties with the boys at home. Cory serves in church as the 2nd counselor in the Young Men’s presidency and participates in their weekly activities and campouts.

We hope you had a wonderful year!

With Love and Christmas Wishes,
The Cory, Jill, Gavin & Riley
