Demo/ Remodel Day 1

I Can Ride My Bike With No Handlebars

Well not quite, but Gavin did Learn to ride his bike in June. He actually learned to ride in one evening. Pretty amazing. Riley thinks he's hot stuff too!

10 Years

It's official, we've been married for ten years. The people at the restaurant didn't believe us and had to find out our ages. More pictures to follow and maybe how we met.(there are some discrepancies in our stories)

Maveriks

Our trek experience was great, we would do it again in a heartbeat. Our trek name was the "Maveriks", and we were in charge of 8 youth and an adult child. Throughout all the rain, hail, wind, and mud there was not a single complaint.

The wind was so bad the last night we were there that it ripped through the grommets of the tarp and had to re stake the tarp at 4 am.

Our chant "What are we, Invincible. What are we, Awesome. Who are we, Maveriks.

Big Cottonwood

After the outing, we finished packing the car and headed out to Big Cottonwood canyon for Memorial weekend with our friends Paul & Kari. We hiked Doughnut Falls in the snow and enjoyed some good dutch oven cooking.

After our Moab trip we decided we needed a bigger tent, we upgraded to a 6 man tent that is big enough to stand and also invested in an air mattress (our bones must be getting old).

Father's and Sons Outing

This year I decided to take Riley with us. He and Gavin had lots of fun, especially digging in the dirt. We had our camp out at Camp Zarahemla in Morgan. The only downfall was that it was on the Friday before Memorial Day, which we had another camping trip scheduled.

We got called to Trek, after a few Ma's & Pa's dropped out. It starts on the June 10 and last for three days, so we are trying to get everything ready. We hope it's a great experience!

Riley Turns 2

Riley turned two on our way back from Moab, so it was another low key event. Nevertheless he still got spoiled. Here are just a few pictures to kick off the terrible twos. =)

Moab

After going to Moab last year and spending half a day trying to find a campsite, we reserved in advanced this time. We spent 3 nights in Moab and enjoyed everything. Lots of hiking and swimming and beautiful scenery.
