BABY PREPARATIONS

Gavin is now going through the attachment phase and must be with Jill every waking moment. He never went through it before when most kids do so we think it is because the baby is coming. Not the best timing, but we'll all have to adjust when he comes. Every night Gavin prays he says "and, thank you that Gavin is the boss." Kind of cute, but I think he thinks that if he prays it will come true. Hmm...working on that one too. Gavin recently picked up a new habit from a kid in nursery who strips at church. Thank goodness Gavin doesn't do it at church or other public dwellings, but at home he is just in a diaper-sometimes it is quite cold and it doesn't even phase him.

The last few months we've been very busy trying to get everything ready for this baby that is due in early May. I guess for those that don't already know, the doctors have told us that we will be having a boy! We'll find out very soon if they are right. Naming the kid has been very difficult, Jill & I haven't exactly agreed on names, so the baby could very well leave the hospital without one.



We haven't been keeping up on our blog partly because over the past several months I've been studying for a test for work called the Management Qualification Interview(the grill for short). After many long hours, before and after work, I passed, with a great score! I am now available to interview for management positions when the opportunity presents it
self.

Jill has been very busy with honey-do projects for us. In the past month she has made a table runner (with the help of Shea's mom) and this past week has made curtains for our living room. We have been making last minute baby preparations too. With only 5 weeks left until our inducing date we have lots of time to accomplish more before we'll take a break on the house and focus on just baby and toddler.
