Home Grown Accountable Kids
We are trying a new job schedule for our kids. If they complete their morning, day & night schedule then they get a ticket to earn a reward. Basically we stole the idea from Accountable kids & tailored it for our family.

Magnet Ball
Riley started soccer this year. The kids are all four or five years old. Sometimes it can be painful to watch: a bunch of kids swarming around the ball. He is one of the smallest on his team, but is having fun and Riles scored his first goal at the end of his first game!

Kid & the Beanstalk
A month or so ago, I walked past the kids bathroom and noticed in the sink that there was a plant growing up from the drain. I questioned the kids and Gavin said he accidentally dropped some bean seeds in the sink and they fell down the drain. I didn't know that seeds could grow with just water and no soil. It made us laugh pretty hard. (I wish we would've taken a picture though).
PS - A few days later another bean plant started growing through the drain again, so we had to snake the drain.

Funeral Service
Here are some pictures of the funeral on 8/20/2012. The service was very nice and it brought back some great stories and memories. Jim was a friend to all, and there were hundreds that came to his viewing and funeral.

James Muir Jr.
July 16, 1936----August 13, 2012
He was the hardest worker I ever met. He loved everything outdoors,
especially camping, hunting, and fishing with friends and family. He was
patient and kind and loved to tease and tell “dad” jokes. He loved
John Wayne, horses and was a true cowboy at heart.
Miss you already daddy! Love you! Tell David we miss him too.
